Delineating soil moisture dynamics within an evapotranspiration surface barrier using spatial‐temporal analysis

چکیده

Evapotranspiration (ET) surface barriers store infiltrated precipitation during the recharge period and release stored water to atmosphere via ET. The primary purpose of a barrier is reduce or eliminate drainage underlying waste zone. objective this study analyze spatial temporal dynamics soil moisture within an ET based on observed simulated data. This characterizes movement processes using contour plots content flux rate in depth-time domain. Zero-flux planes (ZFPs) divide domain into water, ET, zones. Some flow (e.g., direction) that were not field elaborated with simulation results identify depth front bottom ET-drainage marks zone top showed analysis storage could indicate degree usage capacity barrier. spatial-temporal analyses can characterize durations recharge/release water. Quantification these related zones provides beneficial understanding state for range weather vegetation conditions useful optimizing design
